Chief Financial Officer
With over 40 years of significant professional experience, Rolando addresses all aspects of accounting including routine as well as non-routine transactions involved in acquisition, development and the management of Real Estate Properties. When a project is acquired, according to GAAP, Rolando translates the information from closing documents into the accounting system to produce accurate and presentable financial reports.
Rolando first started his career teaching bilingual students accounting principles and algebra. He then took on a role of Accounting Manager at People’s Reinvestment and Development Effort where he developed budget systems, implemented procedures and improved internal controls. Later, Rolando joined Interfaith Housing Development Corp. of Chicago as Chief Financial Officer where he was responsible for all real estate budgets, monitoring of government programs as well as controlling all operating budgets. His finance and accounting expertise includes financial reporting of grants and quarterly as well as annual fiscal audits of Not-For-Profit organizations. With his profound experience and skills, Rolando brings great assets to The Perlmark Housing Group.
